"let us show you the Real India"

When a person meditates and transcends into a state of trance that too is Yog. There are some stages through which we have to pass to reach that trance like-state of meditation. They are 'Yama', 'Niyama', 'Asan', 'Pranayam', 'Pratyahar', 'Dharana', 'Dhyan' and 'Samadhi'. These eight stages are known as 'Astanga Yog'.

Amongst these the first four i.e. 'Yama', 'Niyam', 'Asan' and 'Pranayam' are called 'Samanya Yog' and other four that is 'Pratyahar', 'Dharana', 'Dhyan' and 'Samadhi' have been referred to as 'Raj Yog'.

'Hath Yog' deals mainly with 'Asan', 'Pranayama' and 'Mudra'.

'Laya Yog' lays stress on 'Dharana' and 'Dhyan', but the ultimate aim of both is the state of 'Samadhi' or trance. Jap Yog is a very easy procedure. To repeat any one of the names of God or to repeat a 'Mantra' and contemplate on the meaning of it, is known as 'Jap Yog'. In this world of today the 'Jap Yog' is the easiest and the best as it can be practiced by everyone. All that is needed is a pure and pious mind. When a person goes on repeating the name of God with piety and purity he is bound to realise His Presence within himself. This is what is known as 'Jap Yog'.

Yog is the way to self-realisation, realisation of God, union of the human soul with the Supreme Soul and attainment of Permanent Bliss.

Yog can make old people young again. It is the secret of eternal youth allowing a man to remain in control of all his powers. It the key to good health. It helps to achieve physical well-being, contentment and mental peace.
